• As if Melbourne didn't have enough rooftop bars already, a new gem has popped up in Cremorne just in time for summer. Italian-inspired Amatrice boasts seating for about 80 people across a red marble table donned restaurant, city-facing main deck and an outdoor space, and it looks absolutely delightful. It would be rude not to try the food, with mini lasagne and parmigiana snacks being the stars of the show.

• What Melbourne lacks in looks, it certainly makes up for in personality—St Kilda we're looking at you. Luckily, there are plenty of gorgeous spots just a short drive from the city for when you need your Australian beauty fix. For those struggling to find somewhere to live long-term or heading off on some summer travels soon, this room tucked away in a hidden CBD laneway is available from October 24th to November 26th.
